It’s Autumn and school has begun, which means you probably need a break – and what better way to relax than with a book? I’ve put together a list of my favourite funny books below. Have you read any of them?
Part 1: Where did it come from
Competitiveness is strong in our culture. We try everything to be better at all the little things than our peers and generally take everything very seriously; and game designers love this. When competition strikes, it strikes hard; challenge imbues us with new found energy to pursue and excel in whatever skill, sport, work or silly task that we’ve been set. That is why so many modern games pit you against everyone else; as you continue to strive towards being better, you end up playing the game longer.
We’ve all heard “don’t grow up, it’s a trap” and we would most likely yawn and pick up a hot cup of tea and slurp it while we read the not so exciting Science Revision guide and pretend that we know what these acids do.
Hi everyone, todays post is about Nintendo’s collectable figures known as Amiibo. Amiibo were released in November 2014 on the same day as Super Smash Bros for the Wii U was released. Most of the existing Amiibo are in the popular Nintendo game Super Smash Bros, there is over 44 Amiibo already and most of them can be used for the game super smash bros and many other games which are Amiibo compatible.
My blog post today is all about sweets. There are so many different types of sweets available online and in the shops that you could try something new every day. I have noticed that American candy is becoming very popular and I’ve tried things like Reeces peanut butter cups, Twizzlers, Razzles, Mike and Ike’s, Sweetarts and Icebreaker Sours. I like trying the American candy but I think the taste and textures are a bit different to ours in the UK.
